Blizzard of '96 The Winter of '95-'96 brought one of the largest snowfalls to the New York area in over 50 years. Record snowfalls were registered throughout the New York and New Jersey region - up to 3-1/2 feet in some areas. Here are some WONDERFUL pictures of the blizzard that closed down New York City for a few days.
